Excellent

The music is great, and the vocals are strong, and the recording is pretty good! The only aspect that was slightly weak was the lyrics, but besides that, excellent! Sounds similar to Kings of Leon but more laid back.

That was pretty awesome- gotta love love those chords and that little solo thing at the end. I got about 28 seconds through the song before I downloaded.

Build the Middle

You have a good intro and a chorus part- the part after the intro. Just grab another 'chorus,' stick it on the end of the song, and build another 'verse' in between the two choruses. Then make a little finale with a key change or guitar solo. That's my suggestion.

Really Cool

The idea is great and the execution is excellent. I especially like the zoom SFX and how it builds on the beat. The only improvement I can think of is maybe slipping some ambient backgrounds below the song.

I had the same thought. and the SFX going with the music made the song flow that much more. Right now I'm trying to find a band to do a live recording of this song.

What a coincidence- Give Up=one of my fave albums

Wow, this song is probably the best "given up" songs I've heard. I sure wouldn't have guessed that you didn't get where you were going. I thought the chord changes were awesome along with the melody- just awesome enough to last the 4 minutes. I think one to five "game overs" would have been enough at the end though :P

I couldn't even here teh kick or the hi hat in the first mp3 I made of it, I figured out it was cuz when I imported it to my audio editing program it was raping it's sample rate.

I spent 3-5 hours compressing and mastering to try to get it to sound good, cuz I knew it should, then I listened to it before importing and was like, wow, it's way betterO.o

I'm uploading the final version in about 20 minutes:3 but if I hadn't figured that out, I would've probably deleted this, and never reworked it.

Also the multiple gameover's is supposed to be piss annoying, cuz it's frustrating getting one:p

Very Strong

Solid beat, bass, intro, and synth "fills" if you know what I mean. Very simple yet sufficient melodies and backgrounds during the second half- I really liked that. Very good in my opinion.

A Little too Little?

I really liked the flow of the song and the slight but noticeable 'finale'. Very interesting but solid chords also helped. I wish there was just a little more there, you know- a clever little riff or bleep or something once and a while.

I kinda agree, right now I'm trying to do more hip hop oriented stuff so I'm trying to simplify as much as possible without losing substance. basically just enough for someone to rap to without taking away from the lyrics. I've got a guy who wants to write for this so itll end up being uploaded atleast once more.

Almost Perfect

I really like the acoustic piano and guitar in the background. It helps to balance what would be an overwhelmingly electronic song, and the combination is beautiful. I would give it a ten but the auto-tune becomes just a bit too much for me overall, and I would love to hear either less intense auto-tune or none at all.

Very Good

The melodies and chord structure are quite original and yet very easy to listen too. Great beat and vibe like you said- just a little too long for my taste.

thanks alot man, nice too get some feedback, and well i cant really control the length of my songs they just happen that way :D and yeah i use all original everything, nothing copied at all even sub-consciously :P
